MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Nicholas Spyker is a unified mindfulness certified teacher who has over 10 years of experience. He has studied in the Tibetan Kagyu tradition, with John Yates (PhD) Author of "The Mind Illuminated", and with renowned mindfulness teacher Shinzen Young. Nicholas teaches Unified Mindfulness system.

Unified Mindfulness was created by over 50 years of rigorous research by Shinzen Young. Utilizing clear terminology and rigorous precision, the system is comprehensive and robust, featuring an extensive support structure. The system is entirely secular, meaning it is not religious in anyway. This means that any one, of any faith can take part. Mindfulness meditation has been shown through science to improve immunity, help with sleep problems and insomnia, reduce anxiety and perceived stress, Lower blood pressure, reduce depression and increase emotional self-regulation. Mindfulness is showing promising results with improving addiction problems and with pain regulation.

Nicholas is devoted to sharing mindfulness practices and empowering others to improve their lives through meditation. He is capable of teaching anyone mindfulness techniques, regardless of where they are on their journey. Whether you are an experienced in meditation or a complete beginner, there is always something new to be learned from the Unified Mindfulness System.
